The Bell Ringer is an award-winning, campus newspaper published by the Aiken Standard. The newspaper is editorially independent. It is produced by students at Augusta State University with faculty advisement and occasional contributions from faculty, staff and student readers. The Bell Ringer is a designated public forum.The Bell Ringer is dedicated to bringing news to Augusta State University students, faculty, staff and the community. Our sections include news, arts & life, sports, opinion/editorials and other featured sections.The Bell Ringer is always looking for new writers, photographers, columnists and cartoonists. Contributions such as letters to the editor or opinion columns should be submitted via email to the editor-in-chief as well. Our paper is published on a bi-weekly basis during the spring and fall semesters.The Bell Ringer can be found in or near most campus buildings, including the student housing at University Village and the Christenberry Fieldhouse. There are also two community news stands located in the Daniel Village Plaza near The Spotted Cow bookstore on Wrightsboro Roadand downtown on Broad Street near the New Moon Cafe. For a map of the Augusta State University campus, go here.
